Spiritual Practices that Draw Us Closer to ChristJoin Dr. Jeanene Reese for a six-week online course focused on spiritual practices.
This class will examine the prayers of Jesus throughout the Gospel of Luke and explore spiritual practices that enrich our lives of faith. In keeping with the mission of Come before Winter, the course is designed to renew the spiritual lives of participants while simultaneously equipping them to continue serving in the Kingdom. The hope is that each session will honor those who attend and unite believers from around the world. This class is open to both women and men in ministry.
This six-week class will meet once a week beginning April 2 and ending May 7. Each class session will last an hour and a half with the exception of the opening session, which will last one hour and 45 minutes. We will offer both morning and evening sections:
Section 1: Wednesdays at 9:00 am CT (Central Time)
Section 2: Wednesdays at 7:00 pm CT

Jeanene is an assistant professor, emerita, after teaching for more than 30 years in the Department of Bible, Missions, and Ministry at Abilene Christian University. She has served with Come before Winter since its beginning in 2001 as an equipper, a curriculum writer, and a member of its leadership team. Reese is a frequent speaker at retreats, workshops and seminars around the world. The past two summers she taught in several venues in East Africa.
